Who is laser eye surgery suitable for?
If your eyes are healthy, you can have them lasered. There is one condition: your eyes must not have changed significantly in recent years. The laser treatment can excellently correct strengths from -10.00 to +4.00 diopters and cylinder deviations up to 6.00 diopters.
Alternatives to laser eye surgery
In addition to the well-known laser eye treatment, there are various other treatments in the field of refractive surgery. If laser eye treatment is not suitable, a lens implant, for example, can be a good solution. This also allows larger deviations from -23.00 to +15.00 and cylinder strengths up to 7.50 to be corrected. With a multifocal implant lens it is also possible to correct near vision (reading, computer). As you get older, your eye lens becomes increasingly stiff. This causes problems with reading for many people around the age of 45. With multifocal implant lenses, 90% of clients can see well again without glasses.
