Theo

Humorous and surprising Belgian design.

Quirky & Colorful

Theo is a thoroughly Belgian brand that originated in Antwerp and Bruges. The name Theo is an anagram of the surname of Patrick Hoet, one of Theo's designers. Years ago, he joined forces with Wim Somers and the foundation for Theo was laid. Theo has now become an indispensable part of the optics world, the brand has grown into a true household name.

Theo's breakthrough

It all started at a large optics fair in Paris (Silmo). By selling frames on the steps of this fair, the Theo brand was quickly noticed by several leading opticians. This gave Theo his first small breakthrough!

Humorous and surprising

Theo frames are incredibly recognizable. The brand is characterized by designing exclusive, innovative and surprising frames. Humor and idiosyncrasy should definitely not be missing! A Theo frame can be seen as a true work of art that is designed with a lot of love and produced in small quantities. Together with the optics, Theo wants to continue to surprise the consumer and offer him a unique experience. Despite the fact that Theo frames are frequently seen in the fashion of many optics, Theo always manages to selectively distribute beautiful colorful glasses.
