Morel's story comes from a family that has been making glasses for four generations. Each generation learned from the previous one and added its own entrepreneurial vision. The Morel brand was founded in 1880 by Jules Morel. Morel is located where it all started: in the heart of the Haut-Jura, the cradle of French eyewear. Morel develops her own collections without limitations or barriers. This is a freedom that Morel holds dear, matching creativity and ingenuity when it comes time to draw new exclusive designs.

The Morel Design Center: Where Creativity Comes to Life

Morel cultivates her creativity down to the last detail. The artistic director, (graphic) designers, colorists and prototypists work closely together in the heart of the design center. This team of experts does not shy away from any challenge.

True to its values, Morel controls all aspects of its strategy without bowing to market pressure. In this way, Morel, always avant-garde, manages to surprise the eyewear market. We work with atypical and innovative materials and know-how: carbon, wood, and recently also leather and 3D printing.
